Men and women are different, and when it comes to persuading them, knowing the distinctions in their emotional composition and communication styles can mean the difference between a yes and a no.

1. Generally, women talk to express feelings or re-live an emotional experience.

2. Generally, men talk to persuade others, pose problems and find solutions.

Knowing this, you can persuade much more effectively. And I say "generally" because there are always exceptions, and your sensory acuity will tell you when.

Here are 2 simple yet amazingly powerful persuasion strategies:

1. To persuade women more effectively, ask questions that evoke emotions and feelings related to the circumstance you want, combined with feelings they have expressed - safety, comfort, fun.

Example, "wouldn't it FEEL GREAT to just relax?"

2. Likewise, to persuade men more effectively, ask solution questions tied in with solutions or problems they've expressed.

Example, "wouldn't it feel good to GET THIS done?" or "I bet you'd love to achieve that. Here's how..."

Think of the unlimited ways you can use this!

Here's another tip to combine with it: ask questions that can only be answered with a Yes.

Example, instead of saying to her "would you like to go out with me?"
say this "we should have coffee...Borders, or Starbucks?"
